Vilamoura Sports Academy – FAQ’s
Where do I drop them off and pick them up from?
All our sessions will take place at the new sports facility at Nobel International School, Almancil. Children should be dropped off at the pitch which is located at the back of the new school. Initially the front gates to the school will be open and parents and children should make their way down the stairs and continue to the sports facility at the back. Upon completion, parents will be able to use the car park for the sports facility.
What do they need to bring?
Children should come in appropriate sports clothing for the sport they are playing. Once their kit has been purchased and delivered, they should turn up to the sessions in their kit. If completing the football sessions, then children should bring boots and shinpads.
What if it rains?
Fortunately, in the Algarve the chance of rain is very low. If it is light rainfall, then sessions will go ahead. In case of a storm, sessions will be cancelled in advance. Parents will notified via email and phone and they will be offered a refund or be able to carry their sessions over to next half term.
What if my child doesn’t speak much English?
We believe sports is a fantastic tool for children with English as an additional language to immerse themselves in the language and learn English. We will offer full demonstrations of all the drills, as well as one on one support to help those which struggle to fully understand the English language.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made online by going to our shop and purchasing the sessions you would like to attend or by cash on your attendance of the first session. If you join the sessions after the first session, then only cash payment can be made on your attendance of the first session.
How do I cancel a registration?

Will I be charged if I don’t attend?
Refunds are offered on a case-to-case basis depending on the reason for absence. Please email us with your reason for absence in advance of the session so we can address the case.
